Hello What Hi-Fi users!

I beg for your help!

I just bought a Sony STR-DN1080 and a Q acoustics 7000i set, the latter a couple of years ago, and I would like to hook them on. My question is:

What's the best way (and cable) to connect the Q acoustics subwoofer to the the A/V receiver? Both the A/V receiver and the subwoofer have two plugs (subwoofer out (A/V Receiver) and left/mono and right (Subwoofer)).

Thanks a lot for your help!

Hope hearing from you soon,

Pedro

but in this case the term "read the f**king manuals first" would have answered your question.

but as you haven't here goes:

take a single phono to phono cable like this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Primewire-Subwoofer-Connector-Surround-Digital-Black/dp/B01KI5BNY8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1518370297&sr=8-1&keywords=subwoofer+cable+5m&dpID=51Pg14Xo9hL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc="srch"

then connect one end to the right hand subwoofer out socket (as you look at the back of the amp) and the other end to the LEFT/MONO socket on the back of the sub.

hope this helps.

What crossover are you using on the concept satellites. And what is your room size.

I used a crossover of 100hz on all the satellites during my setup with the Sony str-dn 850. I felt that sounded best in my 11x17 ft. So just curious to know what you are using.
