Connecting a Panasonic PTAX200 to Sky.

Have just bought a PTAX200 as a good budget projector, my first. Have used out of box with a laptop, picture great no adjustment needed.

I have a basic sky box connected via a scart to a Bust DVD recorder. I used a coponent cable to attach an output from the Bush to the projector and the picture quality and colour are terrible.

I am not a techie, just wondering if anyone else out there had similar problems with connecting to cable. I tried playing around with the projectors colour adjustment but to be honest I can't see any amount of colour adjustment fixing the problem. I just wonder is it a problem with the input signal or the cables. Wanted to get some help before I purchase every type of cable there is.

You say that You have connected Your DVD recorder via a COMPONENT CABLE just checking if you are actually running 3 COMPONENT CABLES (RED,GREEN AND BLUE) or do You meen You Connecting it via a YELLOW COMPOSITE CABLE?

Yep I have the 3 cables red/green/blue.
