Connecting a dvd recorder to sky box

Please help.

I am trying so hard to connect a sky standard box to my dvd recorder in order to record my favourite shows.

How can I do this.

I have tried following the book but to no avail.

The connetion I have so far is a scart from sky box to dvd recorder. This is what sky have told me to do. I am having trouble finding the picture via dvd recorder. My recorder is a panasonic. Dm series. Fairly recent.

How do i program the dvd recorder to pick up the channels

Please help.

You can't program the recorder to pick up the channels, but you can set it to record whatever Sky is currently outputting via the Scart output. So you should be able to connect the Sky box into the Scart input on the DVD recorder (not the Scart output). When you select the correct AV input on the DVD recorder, you should then see whatever is currently being broadcast on your Sky box. So to record something on Sky to the recorder, you need to have Sky set to the channel you want to record, then press record on the DVD recorder box.
