Confusing Spotify streaming problem

Spotify works fine on my main Vista PC.

My laptop though running XP and Spotify connected to main system has suddenly started to stutter badly with playback. I found this is also a problem with Last.FM.

My download speed tests are ok. Why all of a sudden this problem[:'(]

Fixed it by re-installing the operating system.
