Compatibility Questions

Hi,

Following helpful advice and comments on the Forum, I went ahead and bought a pair of Q Acoustics 3020s at a not unreasonable price too.

They sound amazing in comparison to my ancient Gale Gold Mk II monitors, less bass perhaps but overall they are great for my humble audio needs.

Now I'm looking to replace a nearly 20 year old Pioneer A107 with a Rega IO integrated amplifier, which I'm hoping will prove a noticeable improvement in terms of audio quality.

But I'm wondering how compatible that amp would be with my Q Acoustics/

Secondly, I've a Project Debut II turntable (bought in 2001) which has an Ortofon OMB5 cartridge. I'm hoping that would run without any issues with the Rega IO.

The Io has an inbuilt phono stage so your turntable should be fine.
The amplifier should not have any issues with those speakers but best audition to be on the safe side
