Coaxial splitter?

I have a combined amp/dac, it has a single coaxial input but two opticals, thing is I could really do with two coaxials. Are there any splitters that are viable or anything like that?

Optical to coaxial cable:

There's no such thing as an optical to coaxial cable. Think about it, it requires active components to convert light to electrical signal or vice versa, hence the existence of converter boxes.

The cable you've linked to is just a toslink to mini-toslink cable...

I think what you're really after is a switch not a splitter, something like this:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/LIGAWO-Pocket-Bidirectional-Coaxial-Switch/dp/B00LZRRG3G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1524985927&sr=8-1&keywords=ligawo+pocket+spdif

This was about the first one I found, I'm sure there are others.

Or a converter:

Yeah something like that switch might do, also would something like this work?

There seems to be a little confusion with the original post, so just to clarify. The DAC I have has 4 digital inputs: I rca coax, 2 optical and a USB. I haven’t much use for the USB at the moment but have two devices I’d prefer to route through coaxial; a squeezebox touch and a CD player. The CD player only has options for coaxial or analog so not much budging there, the squeezebox has option for usb, optical and coaxial however I have a ssd plugged in to its usb and optical supports a max of 24/96 whereas coaxial has full 24/192. At present it’s not really a problem, all my flac files are well below that but I was just wondering if it is possible to route 2 coaxial in to one port without a loss of quality.

That’s what I reasoned but I’m no engineer so was wondering if there was a good reason why you shouldn’t do it.

The other option I was gravitating towards was just setting up a raspberry pi as a media server and freeing up the usb.

Although the splitter cable would work, personally I would still go for a switch, I wouldn't be happy using a splitter unless I was confident only one bit of kit was powered up at a time. Remember you're effectively feeding the output of one straight into the output of the other, and vice versa, a switch would isolate the two sources.

I like the sound of your Raspberry Pi project, I've been trying to think of something to do with one, keep us posted if you go ahead with it *good*
