Hello, I have a pair of sennheiser HD25SP headphones, they at least 15 years old and still going strong but I fancy some open backs, I will not be using an amp so 32 ohm models would be ideal, I listen more to vinyl through a Yamaha AS501 which I like but I just have a fancy for some open backed phones, the HD25s sound to bassy and I'm looking for better soundstage, I was looking at the Grado SR60s but the comfort levels put me off, I have a budget of around £100.00, might be able to stretch it a bit, what are your thoughts, thanks.

Lindy HF-110 would be a good choice - relatively unheard off but they have good reveiews on headfi.org.

Im going to be honest here and I think the AKG K550 would be the better route - although they are closed the soundstage is great for a closed back and they are very detailed. And comfort is one of the best around.

Hope that helps

Rich
