cleaning discs

am in need of some advice, it seems that the cases have been "sweating" and have put a residue on the playing surface either that or the discs are failing.

what are yoiu lot using to clean the playing suface. oh they are about 10 years old. and HDDVD 😉

I’ve just used a little bit of fairy in a bowl of warm water it does the job but be careful not to mark the disc when cleaning then use a soft cloth and lightly dry the disc by patting it dry .
