I went from Rumour 2 which was very good to Odyssey 4 which is brilliant.

Just upgraded from QED silver anniversary bi-wire to Odyssey 4, well worth it, highly recommended!

I went from the QED Silver Anniversary XT Bi-wired -----> Chord Rumour 4 and it was definitely an improvement. The next upgrade would be the Odyssey 4, which I'm aware is very good.

Hard to recommend a speaker cable without knowing what amp and speakers you're using.

I have the same electronics as you have and ive used rumour and now use odyssey. I changed them a while ago allong with a change in entry level chord rca cables to higher end chords.

I didnt notice much difference in the interconnects but the speaker cables were a significant upgrade. Tempted to try the Epics in fact.

I have used Silver Anniversary XT then Chord Silverscreen which wasnt an improvement in detail but did give an overall better sound with better bass and less brittle treble.

Then i pushed the boat out and got some Chord Epic which were a very worthwhile upgrade despite the cost per metre. More detail, clearer bass and much better overall presentation.

I have had much less impact from various interconnects and didnt think any upgrades i tried above the £50 level of VDH Name / Chord Cobra 2 gave any real improvement at all in my system.

When I was getting my cables the price difference on 4m wasn't big in absolute terms so I went with Odyssey... so far I really like this cable. Didn't try Rumour but it was worth it to go with Odyssey, if anything just for the peace of mind :)

I used QED SA XT before.

If there's any chance of brightness in your system then I'd consider Kimber 8TC as a copper alternative. More people seem to consistently like the 4TC and 8TC over the Odyssey.
