Hi guys, how does the chord banana plug fitting attach to the speaker terminal? lol attaching an airloc banana plug is fine, a typical gold banana plug also is fine but this type of banana plug seems to have a groove which does not fit the shape of the NAD C352 terminals?

It has a ridge on it which is not allowing for a connection to be made and yet this is a standard 4mm banana plug.

That idea seems like the fast track towards a non refundable purchase

It's just a different fitting altogether from your standard gold banana plugs off ebay

The "ridge" should be sprung, it's what ensures a good connection. It may well require more force than you're used to though.

You may need to depress the leading edge with your thumbnail when inserting it.

Thanks, I have tried pushing the ridge down when pushing it in but to no avail, have broken a nail doing so though lol

I've been using thin pliers - don't see what the problem is (not planning on returning my cables).

EDIT: I'd rather damage the banana plug (cheap!) with pliers than damage the amp/speakers by pushing too hard on the plugs (remote possibility but possibility nonetheless). These Chord springs are very tough!

My chord cables took alot of force to first get into the terminals, so be prepared to push quite hard

good news then :) better too tight than too loose. When i had the Naim kit one of the sockets got very loose very quickly and i was a bit sceptical about how long the connection would last.
