Chord 2qute vs Smsl M8a?

Which one sounds better? Anyone have experience with both? The expensive chord or the cheap hyped chinese smsl m8a?

I think you'll be lucky to find someone who has had both. One is a high price unit that is British made and is more local and more high end (in so far as it is premium price, will probably never be less expensive), so is likely aimed at someone not necessarily looking for a bargain.

The other is afaik only available on the net. Both have got great reviews and have many fans, but often it's said that DAC price is not necessarily an indicator of better sound quality, but maybe different sound quality.
