Centre Speaker upgrade, or not???

Posting on behalf of a mate.......

His system is:

Denon AVR 2807

Sony BDP S550

Samsung 1080P tv

KEF IQ5SE (front)

KEF 3001SE (Centre)

KEF IQ10 (Rear)

He is considering a centre speaker upgrade, and I've found him a 'mint' condition KEF IQ2c centre speaker for £50.

Will that centre be a worthwhile upgrade from the KEF 3001SE egg, or should he look for the KEF IQ6C or IQ60 centre with three cones in it, as a better upgrade option?

I'm no expert but it would match the rest of his speakers and for £50 it's not too much of a gamble.
