I just moved into a new flat which has ceiling speakers. The connectors on the wall look like so. I bought a wireless audio receiver so I need a 3.5mm to whatever those connectors are... halp?

Much love,

Lacessit.

photo not very clear. Is this the connection for both speakers (with 4 wires) or one speaker (2 wires). Are they rca/phono (4 wires) or banana (2 wires)? I would buy a new face plate if they are odd connectors.

I'll take a better picture when I'm back from work. This is the input into the wall is for several ceiling speakers throughout my apartment. The inner of the connector is threaded and there are only these 2 input points. My main issue it not knowing what kind of cable these inputs require. this I cannot search for the correct adaptor or cable that will allow me to plug this into my wifi reciver using a 3.5mm jack.

It could be f-type sockets usually used for satellite/cable connectors. I would replace the wall socket with twin rca (phono) connectors for less than £10 assuming that the outlet is definitely speaker inputs.
