CDP has died.

Morning all.

Last night, whilst playing a disc, my CDP made a quick buzzing noise and then died. It lost all power. Hoping it's nothing too serious, do you think it might be a blown that has caused the death? If so, do CDPs have internal fuses as well as the one in the plug?

Sorry, that should have read 'Do you think its a blown FUSE that has caused the death?' Where's that edit button gone?

It may well be a blown fuse in the plug, for it to go off so suddenly. Just hope that this is the case, it's the cheapest fix. I don't think there's an internal fuse in the CDP.
