CD Wow Blu-rays! Some top buys to be had!

Dunno if their website has gone mental but some of the blu-ray prices are crazy!

James Bond Vol.1 £28
First 4 Batmans £20

I got x-men trilogy for £23, Hellboy 2 for £8, Gomorrah for 8 and Casino for £7!! Lots more at weird prices too!

Hope mine get delivered!! Fingers crossed!!

Great price for Gomorrah it's about £13 or £14 other places.
 
Use Lovefilm myself, find them good for renting and the Blue rays come through in decent condition.
Can get a couple of mths free if you go to www.lovefilm.com/winner and put in the code YGWR93KNB
 
There's much debate right now on the bargain hunting sites/forums over whether these are misadvertised DVDs as blu-rays, however some people have contacted CD Wow and had it confirmed that they are ordering blu-rays.

I'm gunna chance it but I'd recommend taking a screen-shot of the page with whichever blu-rays you order as evidence if you get DVDs instead.
 
Thanks for the tip! ÿThe Bourne films are £6.99 each (!!!) - not the boxed set, though, which is well over £40. ÿI wonder if CDWow is in trouble?
 
Matrix trilogy is only £15.99, and it's £29.99 in Asda some great deals there.
 
You may wish to try and check which region/version these are.

I seem to remember CD Wow used to offer Region 3 DVDs very cheaply.

I did a quick check on the Bourne Ultimatum Blu-Ray. According to their website the audio is either Dolby Digital - English, Russian or English Dolby Digital. Play.com shows the films with an English DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 soundtrack.

I was just about to order the three Bourne films, but if they don't have the DTS-HD soundtrack, I see little point.
 
The ones I've bought all say they are region B releases. We'll see when they turn up - if not and have sub-standard audio formats then they'll be going back!

I've ordered a couple, ACDC blu ray for just over £5! Bargain, that.
 
It's all very odd. Some people have emailed them and got a reply confirming these are blu-rays, and other have been told they're DVDs. If it was a fault I can't believed they haven't realised by now - they must have been doing a roaring trade with this deal on here, another site and hotukdeals.
 
I'm pretty sure the audio is just wrongly stated but will let you know when I get them through!! Worth a gamble in my opinion, region is ok and e-mailed them and they said they were all defo blu-rays!!
 
I have just ordered two discs, they are at excellent prices, not far of half of my normal fav HMV online. Time will tell what turns up but this could further help the bluray disc price plunge 🙂
 
Just ordered a couple of b-rays. It's hard to believe some of the prices. The payment was to a company in hong kong so perhaps that explains their source of these cheapies.
 
Slightly bizarre i just googled it went on there and the bournes were at £6.99 along with a load of other very cheap blu rays went on the cds and back and it was at 14.99 shame i missed out on that!
 
As usual always too late, all prices back to normal. Should have ordered when you guys alerted forum but waited till wife in bed so I could spend spend spend without any earache from her.

Hmm, just got emails that all my orders are subject to delay - any one else got the same? Slightly suspicious that all three Blu-Rays have been delayed because of "a delay in receiving this product from our suppliers"...

I can't help thinking that someone mispriced these and put on the DVD price by mistake. Hope you all get what you ordered for the prices advertised.
 
I ordered the Batman Anthology Blu-Ray boxset for £21.49 and paid for it through Paypal. Just checked my order on CD Wow and it says it now costs £46.49. The link still take me to the Blu-ray boxset. My Paypal still says £21.49 and I have not had another mail telling me of any increase.
