I currently have Onkyo 875 AV receiver and bi-amped to MA RS6 speakers. Now I'm thinking to add a CD player and maybe a Hi-Fi amp to the set up. Most of my CDs are classical and pop ones. I have the following short list, but could not make my mind:

1. Cyrus CD 6 SE ( a bit worrying about the disc loading problem)

2. Roksan Kandy K2 ( good matching with the matching K2 amp)

3. Marantz CD7003/CD8003 (SCD and USB input)

Any particular winner or losers from the list? Any suggestions appreciated.

Onkyo 875 is forward sounding and RS6s similar so if you don't buy a stereo amp be careful..

I also meant to say that as you have a receiver do you have a DVD or BD player which you could use as a transport and add a DAC. Needs someone better than me to advise on that though.

Thanks for your suggestions. I have both a DVD and BD player, but I have not thought about the DAC approach. I'll need to study more about DAC before making decisions.
