CD Magic or not

Hi everyone,

I have home cinema set up that consists of Pana px70, q acoustics 1010's with 1030 front speaker and denon dvd player ( used to play cd's).

I am thinking of buying a seperate cd player (marantz) and putting it through my Onkyo 605, will this work and will i see any improvement musically?

Only way to be 100% would be to audition one, but I would be 99% sure it will be an improvement.
