Question Castle speakers

Has anyone had much experience with castle speakers .I've never owned any and would like to give them a try .
Just looking for some advice .

they have really good cabinetry work however it's pretty much going to depend on your listening room and partnering equipment.
why do you feel the need to give them a try? Most will be quite old now.

I see them pop up all the time on eBay and they look a quality item .but reviews and recommendations are hard to find .
So just testing the water to see if anyone has any experience with them

they are indeed quality items but will have all the potential issues that older speakers have.
they are on eBay for a reason, unless you really know your speakers then be careful buying.
having said that they were built to a very high standard.
I have owned two types in the past.

They do if you're upgrading and want to reach a bigger audience than your average hifi for sale website.

Exactly what I was going to put.
I sold a P6 and purchased a P10 on eBay. All because I could. Not because either was bad.

both my speakers and amplifier came via eBay, and the amp was from a major dealership.

I believe Castle Acoustics are now part of International Audio Group. They used to get very good sound quality reviews and the cabinets were ‘furniture grade’ made in UK. Originally based in Wharfedale , North Yorkshire…now there’s a name!

Come on! Circumstances change. I sold all my careful selected quirky hifi due to divorce.

I buy and sell hifi separates all the time .if I get something I really like I will hold onto it for a year or two .but then I get itchy feet and start looking for a change .it's all part of the fun
