Castle Compact 5.1 System

Have had the Castle compact system recommended to me with the Compact Columns as front speakers. Don't read much about Castle speakers in this forum. Old reviews are very favourable on the system (5 stars in an '04 review) but are they still considered good? Have they been surpassed by other brands? Any thoughts much appreciated.

Starting to get curious myself!

I have a Yamaha DSP-A2 and using 5x Royd Minstrel SE speakers, stereo playback is not good using my old sony dvd player, wondering if my speakers still live up to modern counterparts... if I remember correctly they cost me about £400+ from new years ago. *per pair*

Originally just had a pair hooked up to my hi-fi system, at the time compared them to castle and epos amongst others, however wondering the same as you at this time.
