canton dm75 soundfield

After trying out a canton dm75 I am slightly disappointed with it's soundfield compared to my previous 2.1 system. Would adding a subwoofer give a more expansive sound? I would of course adjust bass on the main unit accordingly, Btw I have tried surround mode it's rubbish.

I think they are designed to be better than tv's sound and seem to be girlfriend or wife friendly as there are no cables around the room. My friend bought one and has it pluged into his sky box and DVD player and he is pleased with it. He had heard my 5.1 system and really liked it.

I looked at the Superfi website and it shows the subwoofer out and the inputs. I would contact either Canton or your dealer to see which sub the amplification can drive. It is supposed to have downward firing little subs I used to use my hifi before I bought my home cinema system.
