Please someone help been at this for ages!!

Can someone please help. I have opened a flickr account and a photobucket one also.

Managed to get pics from iphoto to flickr- yes i am not that great on compooters!! and have followed the thread on how to post pictures but paste the code starting http and ending jpeg the whole thing and just the phrase between the 2 aforementioned... Nothing! Yes as i said i am not good on computers and it looks so easy on the thread!!!

I am using a panny full hd camcorder for the pics(in stills mode) does this matter??

What I did there was take the bit of your code that looks like this:

and put it in your post. Note - I changed the bit at the end so that width said 400 instead of 500, and removed the height tag...

JohnDuncan thank you for that will have a tinker about tonight and try and post a new thread with all the pics of my system and sitting room. 1 more Q!! Can i add text around the pics after i have put them onto the forum page?? Can they be moved about on the forum page after i have put them on?? So the text you so kindly "made up"- if i fill in the blanks with the other photos they should work?? That was 3 questions!!

Thank you all again and hopefully the full system pics will be on the forum later tonight. Looking forward to seeing what people think of it!!

Yes should work just fine, or I can turn on rich text editing if you a) don't already have it, or b) are using the site in Chrome, Safari or on an iPod/Pad/Phone.

You can intersperse pix with text, but moving them around the page once posted can get a bit messy...

Hi again. I have tried all the above cant even get the picture posted on this thread to go on to my system thread!! Tried editing the text so it looks the same as above for other pics but nothing!! I am using a mac!?!? I changed the width of the image also. I will not give in

Try this right click your picture take option copy image location , on the what hifi bar click on tree pic select image url and paste , enter other details as required and insert.

Thanks El Hefe. Cant read these as they are too small in size tried zooming and they are too pixelated.

Managed to post a stock photo of an lx 82 amp from the review section here in the other thread. other than that no joy

I'm presuming you have the rich text editor (the one that has the pretty toolbar at the top).

If you click on the 'html' button on the far right of the toolbar and paste the text above into it, you get this:

This is sooooo frustrating it just comes up with a tick box and some text $lang_theme_code_wordwrap ???? Cant delete it
