Take a look at my format posting primer. Just follow the link in my signature.

Incidentally, nice setup....but the the fact that the telly isn't slap bang in the middle of the floorstanders would drive me bonkers.

No PJpro it didnt sadly the html box had some text in it which i couldnt delete .It was a tick box and then some code. I am needing to sit down and have a really good go at getting the pics on. There have been no new systems put on in ages!! I did manage to get the text from the code in your useful threads to come up on the page but no pics sadly. It is really frustrating. I suppose it is a good way to learn about computers though. Will have another go when i get some time 1 evening this week. Any other pointers gladly received. Do i have to fill in the rest of the box when importing pics like the size, allignment etc??

Thanks again

ps the speakers are offset a little as there is a door just out of shot on the right!! Will measure and adjust!! Made a bit of a mistake as the sub is bigger than i 1st thought and the holes in the wall for the Rx6's speaker cable are a bit on the narrow side Need to get some facings to tidy it up but may bi-amp the 6's yet so will have to run biwire!!

You can tweak the size but just set the width. To stay on Andrew's good side, set the width equal to 400 i.e width="400".

If you're following my primer it should work. This is just the most basic HTML. All I can think is you have some funny site settings which are preventing it from working e.g. rich text editor. Perhaps you can ask JD to switch it of, just to rule it out?

I had a nightmare posting images with Flickr.

I use Photobucket, logical and straightforward for my brain. Just upload the picture edit the size to 400 X 400. Then copy the 'IMG Code' in the 'Share this image' box and paste it in WHF. Simples.

" src="
S1080007.jpg
" onmouseover="undefined" onmouseout="undefined">Look i did it!!!!!!!!!!

If you're using Photobucket use 'direct link' code not 'img' code ( you can change the setting in PB by clicking the 'link options' link under each image).

Then on the toolbar above the reply window there is an 'insert/edit image' button (looks like a tree
image.gif
) click that, and a pop-up box will appear, like below...

Copy/paste the 'direct link' url into the 'image url' box, then click on the first 'Dimensions' box and change to/enter 400 and leave the second box blank, then click on the 'Insert' button and your image will/should appear in your post.

Have you got this sorted out? Here is a better picture of the HTML code I use. Does not matter where you upload your photo - Flickr or photobucket. Just copy and paste the address where your photo is on the web between the "img" coding as below. Ensure the second img has a /.

Good luck.

Thanks everyone. I seriously thought i had it cracked there. Really want to do a good user system thread. Will maybe start again tonight fresh!! I love seeing what other peoples setups are and how they put them on their homes.

What a load of nonsence . I can up load pictures on my phone, nintendo ds, psp, all games consoles send them round the world of my phone i can even video talk of my phone .I can even upload my picture from any format over the internet and have them printed and posted to my house . But no i cannot upload a single simple pic or avatar on this site hence why most forum members dont use an avatar. and why we dont have a members home system pics colume/blog/post.. Ok so i may call it nonsence because i dont understand any other way but right click insert? But at least i know how to flick the kettle switch to on so there. I agree forum members do want an easy owners picture post
