Yes, just highlight the code, copy it and paste it at WHF. It should copy first time, the same as any other copy and paste.

So why do you think i can sometimes post a pic and other times it doesnt work?? What settings should i check in photobucket??

Sorry John but I'm really not sure. Do you have problems copying and pasting at other times?

Not sure either on the Photobucket settings, if your able to highlight the IMG code you should be able to copy it. If not there maybe a block on it, this is only an idea you need to go in and check or reset the settings, if you can.

Never have problems copying/pasting text. It just strikes me as odd that sometimes it works and other times it doesnt. So frustrating!!

If you're using Photobucket use 'direct link' code not 'img' code ( you can change the setting in PB by clicking the 'link options' link under each image).

Then on the toolbar above the reply window there is an 'insert/edit image' button (looks like a tree ) click that, and a pop-up box will appear, like below...

Copy/paste the 'direct link' url into the 'image url' box, then click on the first 'Dimensions' box and change to/enter 400 and leave the second box blank, then click on the 'Insert' button and your image will/should appear in your post.

Simple I would have thought...

Okay, this is obviously not working for you, have you tried the way i do it. Copy the IMG code from Photobucket and paste it in the message board on WHF. That works every time for me, all you have to do before hand is edit the picture in Photobucket, 400x400.

Thanks Andrew. It is the strangest thing this. Got the pic of the rxfx there after editing size in photobucket itself went to try another and it didnt work?? My isp maybe??

Are you sure you're right-clicking and saving image location as? You should have a link ending '.jpg'...

When you highlight the IMG Code in Photobucket it says "copied" but its not copied per se, this seems to be a Photobucket anomaly. You need to click mouse or however you prefer, then it will be truly copied. You should then be able to paste at will.

Thanks Shooter will give it a try..... Tried it there nope.. Pasted img into the "tree box" on whf and it came up with the size- 400 x 225 clicked on insert and the box just stayed on the screen. Why it works sometimes and not others i dont know. Tried ctrl clicking on the img box and copying, tried edit copy. Andrew was saying something earlier about save to.....??
