Can you get Spanish subtitles on UK TV?

Hi

I have my Colombian in-laws over who dont speak English too well! My question is this:

Can you get Spanish subtitles on Freeview tv channels?

I set my TV (Samsung 6530) to Spanish and subtitles to 'preferred' but this just shows English subtitles.

Subtitles are provided as a service for people who can't hear too well. EuroNews have a Spanish sound channel but they don't broadcast on Freeview.
