Can anyone recommend how to make a trigger cable?

I was thinking about buying some 3.5mm mono jacks and using some old speaker cables. Any thoughs?

yes that will work fine, it doesn`t carry current/voltage to need anything substantial

just remember to get the polarity right at each end and you`ll be good to go, Maplins also sell them pretty cheaply as well
