Cambridge cxa60 and acoustic energy ae500 pairing?

Hi all just wondered if anyone has had any experience or opinions about the cxa60 amp with the ae500 speakers..I’m tempted to give it a go bu think maybe the speakers deserve better ampage

I have the CXA 60 and I think that it is a brilliant amp not sure how it would be with those speakers . What are you going to use it for Cd, Phono

Have you got a phono stage because the amp doesn't have one nor does it have Bluetooth if you did want that.

60w is quite powerful but I am not really qualified to comment on efficiency hopefully some one else with that knowledge will come along.

Can't see an issue unless you need super loud volume but I guess if you did you wouldn't consider bookshelf speakers.

your quite right, the ae500s appear easy enough to drive. Was considering some Dali opticon 2s but maybe too bright ?
