The Alva TT is listed as 'archived' and the cheaper ST is out of stock. Are they releasing new models or discontinuing them? At the same time customers have been receiving a newsletter of a new product range, but the partially concealed photo does not immediately suggest a turntable.

Isn't the Alva available in version 2 form?
Or is that what you're referring to?

On the Cambridge website, in all regions, the Alva TT is labelled as 'Archived', and on the UK site the ST is 'out of stock'. In fact the TT is not listed at all - V2 or otherwise.

Richer Sounds doesn't list the TT at all - which seems to indicate it's being discontinued or replaced.

And perhaps they mean that particular page is archived.
You cannot archive a turntable you no longer have in your possession.....

What I meant was they still seem to be manufacturing the Alva ST.
A webpage that simply states "archived" is pretty meaningless.

. On the website the Alva TT is not listed at all - V2 or otherwise, I have to repeat myself. Forget about 'archived', the turntable is not listed anymore, full stop.

I don't think it competed at all with Rega or Project, it was more of a lifestyle turntable but with still high playback quality.
