I'm full fibre gigabyte snob, I'm getting 1.3 gb per second from Virgin Media, actual speeds around 900mb to 1gb.
I'm hoping for a little more competition in our area, so Virgin can give me a better deal.
Let me just mention this, you don't need this much broadband to enjoy 4K streaming but the more you have, the less compression you get and this makes a big difference in quality if you view a lot of 4k television or movie watching.

I keep checking the availability from Hyperoptic, it seems they're not really keen to venture into Central Bedfordshire. That's a shame.
I'm on 1.13gb from VM. Currently pay £23 per month. I get 1156mb on testing.

Are you a new customer?
Shitty, I'm getting double the charge!
I hate VM!
No, but they made a mistake at renewal. It is supposed to be £30 a month fixed for 2 years, but the system wouldn't register it. So it's £23 until May, £26.50 until May 2027 and then just 2 months at the correct price of £30 from May until July 2027. So only 2 months of the 24 will be at the correct price.

That's a brilliant deal.
I need to speak to VM, they're charging me too much.
Thanks 🙂
