Bose QuietComfort 20 Extender cable

I listen to my iPod Classic through the In Ear Bose QC 20's but find the cable a little short and am looking for an extension cable that will work correctly with the inline control functions, I have purchase one that claimed it was compatible, and Play/Pause/next track function worked, but I could not adjust the volume. Does anyone know if there is a way round this issue. ?

Yes, change the volume on the iPod instead.

Otherwise, contact Bose. Their customer support is excellent.
