bluray machine posistioning???

I am putting bluray system on my boat but the only way to fit the bd player is to stand it on its end. Is this possible or will i have to take another approach. any comments will be welcome thanks......

Hi,

PS3 stands on it's side, has a dedicated stand available to hold it steady and plays BD discs...job done.
