Even if you've switched the sub on in your amp, it may have different output settings for stereo, mine has options like direct and it doesn't send music to the sub using that setting .... I can't now remember which settings did and which didn't.
Assuming you've tested your sub in some other way to make sure it's working and not something like a faulty cable, an alternative as you've only just bought the WiiM mini is return it and get a WiiM Pro, these have sub out on them so could use it from their as opposed to your amp ..... downside to that is if you use your amp for movies / surround sound as well.
You also only need 1 sub for stereo ... although 2 is better.
