Enjoyed the december mag with the Bluray supplement but whilst you have highlighted Bluray films which demonstrate the benefits of Bluray, what about the listening public who are more interested in music than films. I may have missed something but I don't recall having seen anything about Blu spec CDs in the mag and a feature on these would have sat well in the supplement. I only came across Blu spec CD by chance but having bought my first disc (from Japan), I'm very impressed. Maybe the thought of having shelled out £25 for Blonde on Blonde is colouring my judgement but I would be interested to hear the experts' views. Against the standard CD or the SACD, the Blu spec CD wins hands down on definition, clarity and depth.Whilst we all enjoy the kit, it's the end product that's most important so anything which enhances the listening experience is worth a review.
