Hi

I currently use a slim PS3 for bluray usage, but thinking of selling it (£150) for two reasons, fan noise and picture quality.

So what do you guys recommend me look at to buy for around £150-200(even second hand)

I have a few makes Id buy like Sony, Denon & Pioneer. My dads got a Panasonic which has better picture than my PS3, but i find it slow.

Thanks

You don't have to go for a second hand player at your budget.

Look at Panasonic 220 / 320 / 500 & Sony 390 / 490 / 590 / 790. Check if they're 3D compatible & have built-in wifi, depending on your requirements.

The newer Panasonics are quite fast. But you won't go wrong with either Sony or Panasonic. Sony has better smart features.

Don't expect a massive jump in blu ray picture quality (I couldn't notice a difference on my 50-inch Kuro when I demoed blu ray players at different price points). Demo first & make sure you're happy with the performance.
