Bizarre but true

This sounds like a wind up, but true.

I went shopping earlier last night, got home and Mrs. P said, "you won't believe me but a small wasp-like insect has flown inside your amplifier."

A little later this tiny yellow backed insect crawled out of the headphone socket, hovered around the front facia and flew out the back door.

Never seen anything like it in all the years I've owned hi-fi.

Mrs. P told me, I didn't believe her, thought she'd been on the Gin while I was out. But less than 5 minutes after she told me, I was making a cupper and she called me in. It came out backside first.

It did well to get out the way it did - when you think how mostly enclosed the headphone socket would be behind the panel.
(Must've made itself very skinny).
I'd be cleaning the socket...in case it's **** on the contacts 😁

I'm more concerned about it laying eggs. Ut could be the first hi-fi amp to give birth. 😁
