Bi amping Rotel RA-04

Can anyone comment on the rc 06 stereo preamplifier & rb 06 stereo power amplifier. I have a rotel ra 04 amp and am toying with the idea of bi-amping. Im just wondering if this would be a smart move and money well spent.

edit: or would i be better off buying another ra 04 and bi amping the two ra 04's

I can't comment on the Rotel's specifically but in my experience, a pre/power has improves over a bi amped integrated/power set up (I was using Meridian kit at the time).

If the RA-04 is an integrated amp, you won't be able to use two of them to bi-amp. If you've got one RA-04, why not go for an RB-06 and see how you get on? (But first check with Rotel that the gain on the RB-06 is the same as the RA-04 - I'd imagine they would be but best check first).
