I have an Onkyo 576 and want to either bi-amp or bi-wire to get the most out of my front speakers.

However, in the Onkyo manual it states that you should not put two wires into the same terminal. It does say that it is possible to bi-amp the front speakers using the rear channels for the low frequencies. I do not want to lose my rear two channels but would be prepared to lose my middle two channels.

Can anyone tell me if this is possible - using the middle channel to biamp the front speakers??

Thanks in advance

You use the rear back channels to bi-amp the onk. These are less important than the rear side channels.

If you bi-wire you effectively slot two cables into one banana plug.ÿ

The rear channels are the ones you use for 7.1 and if yo're using them now you should swap and use these for the Bi wiring
