Oppo for SACD, though I am biased as I have two Oppo DVD players! The main thing against Oppo is that they don't make DVD players anymore, so if anything does break down, it is very difficult to get it repaired.

Oppo is a great make even for DVD players.

Yes, I would agree, the Oppo. If you can get one cheap it may not matter that the no longer manufacturer players.
