Best speaker for Rotel receiver

Hi,I would like to hear opinions about what speaker to use with a Rotel RSX-1057 receiver. I was thinking on a pair of B&W 685 or 684. By the way, does anyone knows if this 600 series is about to be replaced anytime soon?Regards.

Hi have a Rotel RT-11 DABFM tuner feeding a Rotel RA-11amplifier, which plays through KEF Q300...and the sound to my ears is excellent. Not specifically what youare asking advice on but (i) I am assumming your receiver has the characteristic Rotel sound & (ii) I had the B&W 685s as one of the speakers on my list when putting the system together...and to my ears the Q300s went better.

So would suggest you audition the Q300s.
