Best cd player under £2000 your thoughts

Hi guys

I have a bout of upgraditis due and am thinking of upgrading my Naim CD5X ro the next level,

What is the best bang for your buck cd player under 2 grand.

I have been looking at the Raysonic CD128s and also 2nd hand cdx2.

What other cd players should i consider.

My musical taste is rock and it will be paired with Naims 125 pre and 155 power and B&W 705 speakers.

so my question is what is the best cd player under 2 grand?

I'd recommend Sugden CD21, Sugden CD21SE, Primare CD32, Creek Destiny 2 ... but ...

... I don't believe you'll get a huge upgrade by moving to a under 2000 pounds CD player.

Personally, I'd be looking to get more power into those B&W's, they'll thank you for it.

How about getting a s/h Naim dac if your cd5x has digital out?
