best 3d amp to use with?

[H] hi i have the monitor audio speaker package rx6 av12 package but 7.1 set can you please help me with the following will the onkyo tx nr5008 be a good match up with the speakers or pioneer lx83 be better or yamaha 3067 match better can somebody please help and reply asap thanks[:^)]

I am in the same boat as you... Although I am getting the RX2 package. I decided on the LX83 for the following reasons.

1. I haven't seen a bad review about this product yet

2. I can't demo the Yamaha.

3. From the research I've done the Pioneer seem to be a great match to the RX range

You really need to demo your options, as people have one preference over the other. Some like a little warmer sound of the Yamaha & Denon (including me), & some prefer a slightly brighter sound of the Pioneer. Monitor Audio RX6 is known to tonally match well with both Yamaha & Pioneer.

Even Onkyo is very good, but I found a previous model to be tiresome to hear after a while. I haven't heard the new Onkyos, but I'm told they're much better now. I can't personally comment on them.
