Benq 1070 overheating problem

My Benq 1070 has started getting very hot and turns itself off after 40 minutes or so. How do I rectify this problem - I don't think its the lamp as the it hasn't had that much use. Is it repairable? What is the modern day equivalent of a Benq 1070 if I do need to change it - happy with 1080P and low fan noise.
