Beat the soundbar challenge

Hi

I am seeking advise on a centre speaker

Was thinking soundbar but guy in the audio shop advised against.

So started looking around for second hand items for the same budget as the new soundbar (small)

So far -

Amp - TEAC AV H500D

Front Speakers - Denon SC-M201 bass reflex bookshelf (made by mission)

Bidding on a mission sub

Have the amp hooked up to the sky hd box but also using to play mp3.

Adivse from the net suggests that centre speaker is best from same manufacture/range as the front speakers

Denon did not produce a centre to match my existing speakers so thinking a mission centre or other as advised

Any thoughts on my above choices to date and best centre to match would be appreciated (budget for centre is £80ish second hand)

Try a Mission M70C1 or M70C2.

Very confused now have been advised I dont need a center speaker as the fronts are only 7feet apart.

Was told just buy best front speakers I can afford.

Would b and w dm601 be a significant upgrade?
