BDP S360 memory

I have the above blu ray and when playing a dvd it remembers where i was when the player is stopped. With a blu ray disk it doesnt and i have to either manaully find the last spot of use the pause button. I cantfind anything aboutthis in the manual, am i doing something wrong?

It's not the player, it's the disc. Some blu-rays will allow memory replay, but most don't.

I have put the external memory into the machine thinking it was that but that hasnt worked. I only have 2 blu ray and neither of them will start from the last place. Is a little annoying to say the least.
