Took a youtube bass test and my Mission LX-2 startede to be noticeable at 40hz (could hear a bit at 30-35hz low volume) 65-85hz it was down a bit at 90 hz it was louder again

Tried it with my phone and a sound meter app (sound meter)

40hz 47db 50hz 63db 60 hz 63db 70 hz 62db 80hz 61db 90hz 64db 100hz 64db

My Q Acoustics 2010i has a little bump around 80-90hz just to compare it to something else,Q Acoustcis 3020 is flat (didn't use sound meter to test the bass on the 2020i and 3020)

For a budget speaker not bad, not shure if most music has it's energy at 65-85hz or around those frequencys that will compensate for the slightly lower bass at 80hz

Is there a way of making it slight more powerfull at 80hz without using a eq or is it just just using an eq and give it 1-2 db mabye something like this https://sourceforge.net/projects/equalizerapo/

Moving the speakers closer to the wall (i.e. Behind them) will boost the bass, though be careful not to overdo it. An inch or two at a time, I'd suggest.

Your phone metre is probably not that accurate it might be giving a false reading by a few db either way.

You cant really go by that 100% - even dedicated mics need correction for accuracy

My Ruark Swordsmans came in at 30hz, pretty good at 40hz with 50hz being most impressive, 70 dropped of a bit though.

I could hear the bass at 65-85 hz was a bit lower than under and above 65-85 that why i tride sound meter on my phone

Anyone finding their bass has a dead-spot part way up its range will probably find it's almost always caused by cancellation.
