Any idea how to verify that an amp is "truly" balanced. It is not like the specs ever state "balanced inputs here but impacted by added electronic processes".... I have a CambridgeAudio 840A v2 by the way, does anyone know about this one specifically?
Also, if one invests in audiophile power chords and power blocks....does this balanced/unbalanced discussion still make any sense? Inversely, if you use the balanced connections (which supposedly counter polluting noises/frequencies), does it make any sense to also invest large sums in the power connection side of things ?
