Morning Folks...

So, I got the new update for my s3's just over a week ago and I just still cannot get used to it.

I've tried differing quality levels from basic to max quality on Amazon, Spotify and Apple Music and also my own FLAC cd rips and ice not yet found anything that sounds particularly good, it just seems like all vocals are just tinny and overly separated from the rest of the track.

Admittedly, I've not tried cabled connection yet but don't hold much hope for a decent immersive listen....anyone else had a better experience with it?

I got the B&W PX8 headphones and I do know sort of what you mean. Yes, the cable connection is better on mine and does improve things. I just bought some Sony 1004 headphones and I am liking them better.

The overall sound quality, when compared to my old Sony and Bose QS Ultra is still fantastic, it's just this immersive update that is a mess.
Can you say they are faulty and get a refund that way? I had a pair of B&W PX7 S2 purchased from Peter Tyson and they went faulty, so I contacted Peter Tyson after a year and a half and got a full refund.
