B&W M-1 Speaker faults

Hi everyone,

I've recently purchased a B&W MT25 system and have had two faulty M-1 speakers. The fault is basically a "buzz" like distortion at certain frequencies. One showed these faults straight out the box and the second 6 weeks later. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Presumably they're still under warranty? Have you contacted the dealership or B&W directly? If there's a problem I can't see why you wouldn't be entitled to replacements.

Hi,

Had mine for over a year (possibly 2!) with no quality issues at all.

Think you've just been unlucky.

Have you tried tightening the grommets on the speakers with allen keys? Possibly the units are loose or not tightened initially?
