Someone told me with my music you must listen to these B&W's. He found it much better with bright sound metal records than Tannoy XT6F/8F, MA Silver 8 and Q acoustics concept 40. What are yours experencies? To hear it i must ride 1,5 hour. Also experencies are welcome. Normally these speakers too expensive, but secondhand is a good option. And what's the difference between the CM9 and the CM9S2?

Forget the cm9....there's a pre owned pair of pmc twenty 22's on the well known auction site for a bin price of £855 +postage......If you got the amp to do them justice it could be the bargain of the year 2k brand new..these were.

been told Klipsch RF-7 MK2 are good for metal but never heard a pair yet to say if this is true or not but they are £2100 a pair

they have big horns not cow horns *smile* which are good for metal but again not sure if this is true

I have a pair of B&W CM9 S2 and I can tell you that those are very good speakers for all kind of music, but they don't forgive bad quality files and they need a good amp
