B&W CM7 vs Dali Ikon 6

Hi,

Has anybody compared B&W CM7s and Dali Ikon 6s? I'm looking for some floorstanders to partner either a cyrus 6se/8vs or 8se/8vs combo (depending on funds), listening to almost exclusively classical.

The B&W CM7 speakers are superb. My other half has them partnered with her Cyrus 8v2 integrated, XPower power amp and CD6 CDP and the sound is brilliant with sold punchy bass, smooth midrange and superb treble.

She doesnt listen to a lot of classical but she does listen to a fair bit of Jazxz as well as Motown and Rhythm & Blues etc...

The Dali Ikons; from what ive heard from them; are very good but i havent heard them partnered with Cyrus gear. They were matched with an Arcam FMJ A32 integrated amp and were playing music from a Rega turntable and they sounded sublime.

The Ikons are very good, but may be a little bright with Cyrus kit. I would definitely suggest an audition. They are perfect with my Arcams.
