B&W 805s or 804s?

Hi quick question what would you go for a brand new set of 805s which ive found for £1440 or a 2nd hand set of 804s for £1600? Thanks

Well I have the 805s and totally love them. I have not heard the 804s so really can't comment except that I remember reading the review on this web site and they were saying that the 804s would be best driven by a fairly powerful amp. The other question is the size of the room you will be using them in.

Personally I like to buy new; but that's me.

both sets? im now looking for a primare a30.1 mk2 amp so will be that for music.

This is true, however Primare and B&W work well together. It all boils down to matter of opinion, though if you like your bass go for the 804s. I love my 805s for their cohesion and brilliant detail, I can also use my sub whenever I feel the need to. (As usual see if you can test before you buy)ÿ
